Overview

Black Hollow is a concept fragrance brand created to explore the balance between mystery, restraint, and grounded masculinity. The brand is designed for the modern man who values quiet confidence over spectacle. Instead of loud visuals or flashy luxury cues, Black Hollow focuses on depth, texture, and atmosphere to create a presence that feels both refined and raw.

Inspired by the stillness of forests at dusk and the quiet strength found in darkness, the identity draws from earthy tones, subtle metallic accents, and minimal typography. The goal was to design a brand that communicates power through restraint, leaving a lasting impression without needing to demand attention.

Packaging Design

The packaging was designed to reflect the brand’s philosophy of quiet luxury.

  • Minimal labeling

Outcome

Black Hollow explores how minimal design and atmospheric storytelling can create a strong brand presence without relying on excess. Through restrained typography, natural textures, and moody visuals, the identity reflects a modern interpretation of masculinity — one that is steady, intentional, and quietly powerful.

This project allowed me to focus on world-building through branding, using subtle visual cues to communicate emotion and narrative.
