NYC MTA Poster Design 

(school project)

For this project, I created a poster inspired by the New York City MTA subway system. My goal was to celebrate the visual language of the subway while presenting it in a clean, modern, and stylized format.

The design features colorful lines wrapping around the poster’s border, each corresponding to specific subway routes—for example, the orange line represents the B, D, F, and M trains. Along these lines, I placed circular markers labeled with the letters and numbers of New York's subway lines, mimicking the familiar signage found throughout the system.

At the center of the composition, I recreated the official MTA logo and set it against a grainy gradient background to give the piece a bold focal point and add visual texture. The overall layout is meant to resemble interconnected train tracks, symbolizing the complex and dynamic nature of New York’s transit network.

To further bring the design to life, I created a motion design component that animates elements of the poster. In this animation, the subway lines dynamically move along their paths,
